As premature release of unpublished data may prejudice publication the annexes are not released prior to publication. Due to the confidential nature of some documents, some annexes of papers have not been published on the website. This is in accordance with SEAC's code of practice. On the afternoon of Tuesday 30th November, SEAC will consider the potential for maternal transmission of vCJD. This discussion will be held in a closed session as it involves consideration of confidential medical data. This is at the request of the researchers, the relevant Government Department and to comply with the Code of Practice of Access to Government Information, as outlined in the published SEAC Code of Practice.
