On the afternoon of Thursday 29th - SEAC will receive updates from a meeting of the joint FSA/SEAC Risk Assessment Group held on April 2nd and from a meeting of scientific experts held on March 30th to discuss an unusual scrapie case. These reports will held in a closed session as the updates will include presentation of (as yet) unpublished scientific data. This is at the request of researchers, relevant Government Departments and to comply with the Code of Practice of Access to Government Information, as outlined in the published SEAC Code of Practice.
